Its aromatic, caramelised scent, reminiscent of dried porcini mushrooms, makes it unique and unmistakable. Ideal for sweet and sour sauces, it pairs perfectly with medium-aged savoury cheeses and tender meat dishes, enhancing their flavour with its intense and persistent taste.
