Our plum compote is the result of our passion for high-quality fruit and Piedmontese artisan traditions. We use the Santa Clara variety, grown in our orchards in the fertile lands of Piedmont, where the favourable climate and rich soil give the plums an intense and distinctive flavour. Santa Clara plums are hand-picked at the peak of ripeness and processed within a few hours of harvesting in our factory to preserve their freshness, aroma and nutritional properties. Our compote is made without added sucrose, but gently sweetened with fructose, which enhances the natural sweetness of the fruit without altering its original flavour. For every 100 grams of compote, we use 185 grams of fresh plums, resulting in a product with a high fruit concentration and authentic flavour. The result is a compote with a full, natural taste, reminiscent of traditional homemade recipes. Perfect on toast with a thin layer of mountain butter for a wholesome breakfast or snack, it is also ideal with yoghurt, fresh cheeses or as a filling for cakes and tarts. Each jar contains the fruit of careful, artisanal processing that respects the raw ingredients, bringing to your table the authentic flavour of Piedmontese tradition, handed down from generation to generation.
