Varietal characteristic
The blueberry grows wild in Europe: it is 20-40 cm high, with angular stems and branching.
It flowers in May and fruiting in July-August, has solitary or paired berries, black, covered with bloom and flesh coloured.
The ripe fruits are eaten as Blueberry are dress with lemon and sugar.
Some substances found in blueberries are considered useful for blood circulation, so much so that many drugs indicated in situations of fragile capillaries or vascular problems are based myrtillin.
They are also indicated for the eyes (myopia and retinopathy), visual and fatigue against diabetes.

Way of production
All the production process is done manually according to the old country tradition of home production. The fruit in copious quantities in the summer was turned into a jam before being consumed in the winter.
The method used is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. The fruit after being thoroughly cleaned and washed are simply cooked in a pot.
Your photography is alwyas so beautiful. Heather’s blueberry farm would be a place I would love to visit. There use to be one in my home town outside of Seattle where we’d work in the summers.
