We cultivate our split, skinned broad beans with care and respect for the land, selecting light, well-drained and sunny soils that are perfect for this ancient and nutritious variety. Native to the Mediterranean basin, split broad beans are increasingly appreciated for their nutritional properties, digestibility and sweet, enveloping flavour. The seeds are round in shape and, thanks to the hulling process, free of their outer skin, making them particularly delicate and easy to cook.
We sow them in spring and harvest them when fully ripe, to offer a high-quality product with an intense aroma and excellent shelf life.
