Blueberry Compote

The juiciest and sweetest blueberries are cooked with only the addition of brown sugar, following the traditional "open" method. After being carefully cleaned and washed, the fruits are simply cooked in the pot, thus enhancing their authentic flavor and maintaining the artisanal characteristics of homemade preparations. To produce 100 grams of compote, 155 grams of fresh blueberries are used. Blueberry compote has an intense, slightly tart taste with sweet and fruity notes. Ideal for breakfast on bread, yogurt or pancakes, it is also perfect for spoon desserts and tarts. It pairs well with fresh or goat cheeses, and surprises with red meats or game for a refined touch.

Blueberry jam with cranberries is a delicacy made by processing the fruit of the cranberry, a wild plant widespread in Europe. This plant reaches a height of 20-40 cm and has angular, branching stems. Flowering occurs in May, while fruiting is concentrated in July and August. The fruits are in the form of solitary or paired berries, black in color, covered with a light bloom and with colored pulp.
The production process of blackberry jam follows traditional and manual methods, reflecting the ancient peasant traditions of home production. During the summer season, when blueberries are plentiful, they are harvested and made into jam for consumption during the winter.
