Fruit in syrup

William Pears in syrup

We cultivate Williams pears in our orchards in Alba and the Langhe. These pears, with firm and compact flesh, are harvested at the perfect level of ripeness and processed within a few hours.
We preserve them in a simple syrup made only with water and cane sugar, enhancing the fruit’s authentic flavor without altering its characteristics. The result is a wholesome preserve that retains all the freshness and delicate taste typical of Williams pears.
Excellent enjoyed on their own.

Varietal characteristics

Williams pears grown in Piedmont are among the most appreciated for their quality and unique flavor.
Piedmont, in northwestern Italy, offers an ideal climate for pear cultivation: warm summers, mild winters, and mineral-rich soils, especially in the Roero area, renowned for its large orchards. Here, Williams pears ripen slowly, developing a distinctive taste.
Our cultivation follows traditional methods. Every stage, from planting to pruning, is carried out with care to grow healthy, flavorful pears.
Harvesting takes place between late August and September, when the pears reach perfect ripeness.
Piedmont Williams pears are easy to recognize: they have a golden-yellow skin, sometimes with a red blush, and white, firm flesh with a sweet, aromatic flavor, well balanced between sugar and acidity.

Pears, water, cane sugar.
