Blueberry sauce with blackcurrants is a delicacy made by processing the fruit of blackcurrants, a wild plant widespread in Europe. This plant reaches a height of 20-40 cm and has angular, branching stems. Flowering occurs in May, while fruiting is concentrated in July and August. The fruits are in the form of solitary or paired berries, black in color, covered with a light bloom and with colored pulp.
Blueberries are combined with balsamic vinegar, which brings a note of complexity and pleasant acidity, and mustard, which gives a spicy and aromatic touch.
