Dried

Borlotto Taylor (Phaseolus vulgaris)

After harvesting, the beans are naturally air-dried and then packaged by hand in tins or bags. Before cooking, we recommend soaking them for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. Borlotto Taylor beans are perfect for soups, rustic stews, side dishes, warm salads or main courses. Their rich flavour goes well with tomato, garlic, rosemary, sage and extra virgin olive oil.

We cultivate Taylor Borlotto beans in accordance with Piedmontese agricultural tradition, choosing well-exposed, fertile and dry land. It is a rustic and vigorous variety, with large, round seeds that are cream-coloured with deep red streaks, highly prized for their full flavour and creamy texture.
We sow them in spring and harvest them only when fully ripe, to ensure quality, taste and long shelf life.
