Dried

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa)

After harvesting, we dry and then package it by hand, with care and attention, in jars or bags to preserve its nutritional qualities and flavour. It does not require soaking and is ready in just a few minutes: simply rinse it thoroughly under running water before cooking to remove any traces of natural saponins. Quinoa is perfect for light, complete dishes—excellent in salads, soups, vegetable patties, or as a base for nutritious bowls. Its delicate, slightly toasted flavour pairs well with fresh vegetables, legumes, dried fruit, and aromatic spices such as coriander, sweet paprika, or cumin.

We cultivate and select quinoa with care and respect for the environment, choosing light, well-drained, sunny soils suitable for this resilient and generous plant. Originally from the Andes, quinoa is now appreciated here as well. Naturally gluten-free, rich in protein and minerals, it has a delicate, slightly nutty flavour. The seeds are small, round, and light-colored, with a natural pearly sheen.
We sow it in spring and harvest it at full maturity, following nature’s timing. After harvesting, we process it carefully to ensure a high-quality product that is aromatic and easy to store.
