You will need
300 g milk
150 g smoked salmon
70 g onion
50 g cream
30 g butter
thyme and marjoram
1.5 l broth
How to prepare
Braise onions, thinly sliced in butter , add the drained lentils and the little bunch of thyme and marjoram.
Dilute with hot broth and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat.
Add the hot milk and keep cooking for 5 minutes more.
Remove the bouquet garni and about half of the lentils.
Whisk the remaining, add the cream. Put the lentils aside in the pot, boil again, season with salt and paprika.
Dish out the soup into cups or bowls and complete with thin strips of smoked salmon
